This course introduces Brokers, Realtors, non-Realtors and Agents to the different types of home inspections as pertains to a real estate transaction. The course will introduce the different types of home inspections, those areas included in the process, common problems revealed during the inspection and the pros and cons to both buyer and seller of the home inspection.
Upon completion of this course students will:
1. Be familiar with the different types of home inspections performed
2. Be familiar with common problems that are uncovered by the home inspection process
3. Understand the pros and cons for the buyer, seller and representing agents of having a home inspection
4. What all parties can do to prepare for the home inspection
5. Have a clear understanding of the inspection report, its contents and its usefulness
